Kinda lonely - how is anyone going to read this!
Well it's well into the week and not a soul has seen my blog - I wrote the higher authority and have not gotten any divine intervention re: how does this blog get read -??
Nice week, saw the kiddies, visited across the river - always a fun roadtrip
Getting ready for the High Holidays - really should be Holydays - they are awesome by definition. No other time of the yr is so soul moving - passover is meaningful and shavuout, chanukah, joyous, etc. But the Rosh and the Yom are just the top of the mountain! As I age, the awe of Judaism, the spiritual system that has the advantages of a lifetime of therapy just built right in - the font of spiritual refinement - growing growing gone!
It is truly correct is is "schvere to zain a yid" - it is hard to be a jew - it comes with many, many challenges and privileges - like the US bill of rights and the constitution - rights, privileges and responsibilities.
