Been very busy with the kids, one is moving, one is going to have caesarean thurs - Baruch Hashem - Busy babysitting, socially very active with friends, I even see the light bulb in the frig lately. House sales, purchases, all in the lawyers hands, what is meant to be is meant to be - I am a firm believer in ecclesiates. This very am I went to the Rebbe's Ohel - Menachem Schneerson's gravesite - I have gone at least 3 times in last 6 months: it is a powerful piece of geography right in good old NYC - queens!

Bubbe is busy, content, and soulful -

What a weekend, saw the the grandkids, babysat with one over nite - Intoxicating Kvell!! ?? Buying new house, selling house, contracts floating around, I'd like to sign something this week - I need a bit more stability -social plans - do I even need a kitchen? We seem to be eating out always - In the end after all the frenzy and whirlwind is completed, some form of order will come about. How can I live in the moment if the moment doesn't stand still for a while??

Busy and blessed - so who's complaining - lots of negative challenges around me with my friends, sickness and tzuris, young widowers, etc. - you gotta enjoy!! Have a piece of babka and a sip of seltzer - L' Chaim

Played golf today - why do jews do this - its the HIZT! Hot Hot Hot !! Years ago in the middle ages old men used to hit and thrash at the ground - it was called witchcraft today it is called golf!

Dinner with friends, babysitting tomorrow nite - what could be better??

Wow - recuperating from the klop! Not so black & blue - dr. & eyedr. said I would look like I went 3 rounds with Tyson - not so - I have a bad cut - swelling and marbelled red/white contusion. Thank Hashem No Confusion!

Wow! Went to do a good deed and got hit in the head! Last nite came home very late, nighbors mail in my box - I got up early to go to gym and saw her garage door open - I called "Hello" and knocked on the interior metal screen door - the dog this big bruiser!! Like a scotty only 30 X bigger charged the door, jumped & pushed it so hard, with such force that it hit me in the head - TG - Thank Hashem I wear glasses - they broke - I got a bump and a cut left of my left eye - my neighbor was crying, etc. apologetic, offered to pay for my glasses, I refused - she gave me a tissue - I got into my car and returned home - three houses down the street - went upstairs, told my husband - we got ice and I got a nice cut and a bump - I will go to dr. later just to look at it - felt sort of spacey , but now AOK - ??? A klap from above?? What does this all mean - slow down, take stock, backtrack, ??? there is meaning in everything ! Accidents don't happen for nuttin!!!

My father always told me that I have a hard head! It came in handy today!!

Busy with kids, etc. activities, reading - Will we go to contract on this house?? Who knows - loooking at pools, siding, etc. good stuff - cemetary week this past few days - visiting elders, etc. good for the soul

always questioning and wondering where we all fit the this scheme of life - a real crap shoot!

friday played golf 14 holes then heavens opened up - rain rain go away! - bbq and tonite club dinner

Next one coming soon, Baruch Hashem - went to Rebbe's grave today - the ohel and pleaded for good - prayers for friends who are ill, etc. I need some divine intervention - ?? buying house or not - glitch in contracts - my guts says no!!!!! way!!!!!!! - maybe it will be overridden by Heaven!

Back out gardening - but I fixed myself up - not a big challenge - getting ready for Elul - another month of spiritual fine tuning, e tc.

Lota Lota nachas! Took 3 grandchildren to pool sat - 1st shabbos not in shul for a long long time - kvelled - two in kiddie pool one in snap & go - 4 weeks old!! One has boys one has girls
It gives grammie great pleasure! Hope all is well in the world outhere in "Blogville"!

Why am i even writing on line - I could write in microsoft word on my hard drive - all day long! this seems to be a convenient spot however, ?? like journaling in the 80's & 90's! you get some good stuff to ponder and work on when you examine what you've wrote!!

grammie is reading 3 books simultaneously - one about fear, one about resilience and one about balance and happiness - I sound like the non fiction queen! I am - I don't read anything that doesn't grab me - go to book reviews reading 1/2 - 3/4 of novels like Tearose - Lady with Unicorn - OK for plots and character development - doesn't hold me often.
